Why I got into this industry: My entry into the interior construction industry was driven by recommendations from friends and my genuine passion for fostering relationships. Drawing on over a decade of involvement with the construction sector, I've cultivated a network of valuable connections that allow me to bring a collaborative and personalized approach to every project.

What I love about interior construction: I enjoy the chance to collaborate with architects in the design of unique spaces. I've been fortunate to work with Potters for the past seven years, contributing to the design of major projects all over the country. The most exciting part for me is taking incredible designs and turning them into reality, adding my personal touch – that's why I have such a passion for interior construction.

Where I see myself in the future within this industry sector: Looking ahead in this industry sector, I envision myself taking on a broader role within the commercial construction sector. My aspiration is to step into a national position, where I can extend support to customers across the entire country. And who knows, down the line, I might even find myself back on the tools!

Biggest achievement within this industry sector: Reflecting on my journey, one of my most significant accomplishments is being invited to join the AWCI technical committee. It's a source of pride for me to have been recognized for my expertise and entrusted with the responsibility to contribute my knowledge in tackling industry issues and answering crucial questions.

What was the most interesting project I have worked on so far: Among the array of projects I've been involved in, the one that truly stands out is the Massey University project in Auckland. Collaborating closely with Athfield Architects, I played a pivotal role in specifying our timber batten system. The entire project looks amazing and it was a pleasure to see this design come to life.
